The opposition is expected to hold a rally at the Jacaranda Stadium today framed by the NASA top brass as a ceremony to mourn victims of police brutality.Bodies of dead NASA supporters will be paraded in the ceremony to prove a point, that is to show that Uhuru Kenyatta ascended to power on the blood of Kenyans according to NASA CEO, Norman Magaya.''The nation must pose for a minute to ask whether it is right for one person to order the death of hundreds of citizens, maiming of families, windowing of many women... it must be contrasted with the coronation ritual that will be done in Kasarani so that the world will see where the country is headed to. That we intend to do to demonstrate that there is no democracy where a leader ascends to the presidency on the strength of the blood of his citizens.'' Magaya said.
Magaya's remarks reiterate the determination of the opposition to press on with the Jacaranda Stadium rally in spite of stern warnings from the Nairobi police commander, Japheth Koome.
