Wetangula has also called on Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) chief, Raila Odinga to stop his campaigns and instead support him in 2017.

Wetangula is not yet ready to vie for presidency in the country. His political career is not convincing enough to allow the electorate vote him in come 2017.

His service cannot be compared to Kalonzo Musyoka's, Raila Odinga's or Uhuru Kenyatta's and if he maintains his stand, then he will fail in the 2017 elections.

The Luhya community is also not speaking from the same page as it is expected. The people are divided between supporting Kenyatta, Raila or Wetangula himself.

With this trend, he will get fewer votes from an area considered his stronghold.

Raila and his co-principal, Kalonzo have also shown their interest in vying for presidency come 2017. This, if not carefully looked into, will lead to a split in votes between the three leaders and thus Wetangula failing to gain complete votes in areas he should not be losing out on.

Wetangula needs to look for ways of becoming the president in the future but not 2017. He should follow the vice president William Ruto's way and become the running mate of one of the presidential aspirants favourable to win the 2017 elections.

From this, he can set out his future agenda to the people and possibly become the president of Kenya.
