Even before the August 8 general elections, Embakasi East parliamentary aspirant Babu Owino has hinted at vying for two top seats in the country.
The controversial student leader, says he wants to be the governor of Kenya's capital, Nairobi, in 2022 and the country's powerful man, in 2027, elections.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen television, Babu said he wants youth to be leaders, to ensure the country runs smoothly.
"Right now, I want to represent the people of Embakasi East as their MP. But in 2022, I want to be the governor of Nairobi. I want to be the president 20217. I want to represent Kenyans as their president, and I know this is possible.The youth have been used, misused and abused, and we must stand up to say no,'' Babu said, Friday.
The Students Organization of Nairobi University (Sonu) chairman secured an ODM ticket, to vie for the Embakasi East MP seat, in Nairobi county, in August.
