Top NASA leaders during unveiling of the presidential campaign fundraiser numbers. [Photo|ODM]President Uhuru Kenyatta has laughed off, a fundraiser campaign by his National Super Alliance (Nasa) opponents which aims to raise funds for the coalition's presidential campaign.Led by Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, Nasa launched a mobile pay bill number and a bank account number for Kenyans to send their contributions, saying they had insufficient funds to run the presidential campaign. However, Uhuru took a swipe at the Opposition's fundraiser, saying they were now stealing from individuals, after looting public funds through their governors."Now they cannot steal from Kenyans to run their political affairs and that is why they are carrying around pay bill numbers,” he said.Citing the Nairobi County government, Uhuru said Jubilee governor Mike Sonko had sealed corruption loopholes and is collecting Sh39 million a day up from Sh7 million, and that there is evidence money was being siphoned and used to fund the opposition, when Dr Evans Kidero was the governor.Uhuru asked Kenyans not to fundraise for the alliance, saying it lacks agenda and would not account for the money.
