Transport Principal Secretary John Mosonik has called on South Rift residents to back President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re election to ensure the realization of projects initiated by the government.
The PS said the only way to ensure that most infrastructural projects started by the Jubilee government in the region are completed is for the residents to elect Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto for a second term.
“If you people want a continuation of all these good programs the government has rolled out then you should turn out today before the closure of the IEBC deadline and take the card so that you can be eligible to vote for Uhuruto again come August,” Mosonik said.
He told residents: “With a new government coming in, all the projects yet to be completed might be stopped and so we are urging you to support the Jubilee by voting it in again.”
Mosonik was speaking to residents during voter registration campaigns in Bomet county.
