Ukambani has two women who are going for the gubernatorial slots in August. Former Lands CS Charity Ngilu and former Chama Cha Uzalendo (boss) Wavinya Ndeti are seeking to unseat male incumbents.
The two should give you a reason to celebrate because woman empowerment is taking shape and Kamba land has a lion’s share in this great revolution.
Supporting them is not a feminist move but a show of political maturity. Women empowerment is a move that will reduce corruption if we factor out minor incidences like the NYS scandals and the land saga.
Research proves that women are less corrupt compared to their male counterparts. If the SGR had a female strategist, the cost would have been reasonable. Women can loot but if they do so they have a second thought about their children; men are monsters.
The second reason why you should vote for Wiper’s Wavinya Ndeti and the legendary Mama Charity Ngilu is the possibility of them ascending to State House.
Gubernatorial slots are the second most powerful slots in the current political landscape. If one performs well in her county, sober Kenyans will easily vote for her.
Who said top leadership is a male reserve? They are only good at public fights, looting, abuse and cultivating tribalism. If you vote for women, you vote for a better Kenya.
