Detectives in Tiwi, Kwale County, have arrested the widow of slain Muslim cleric Samir Khan.
Mrs Samira Yakub Khan is alleged to have ties to terrorism activities in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties, including the botched attack on Mombasa Central Police Station.
Msambweni police boss Benjamin Rotich confirmed the arrest, but declined to give details.
According to Baraka FM, Mrs Khan was arrested by plain clothes police who lured her to the chief's office to pick some luggage.
The body of Mr Khan was found on April 13, 2012 in Tsavo Forest, Taita Taveta County, three days after he was reported missing.
This comes two weeks after the widow of slain cleric Aboud Rogo was arrested in connection with the attack.
Haniya Saggar was charged in court on Friday last week, for failing to give information about the attack mastermind Tasmin Yakub, who was among the three suspects killed during the foiled attack.
She, however, denied the charge before Mombasa Principal Magistrate Diana Mochache.
