A middle- aged- man hass been arrested for raping a hen to death.
The incident took place in Mote Onkoba village in South Mugirango.
Police say that the man was "sexually frustrated," decided to rape the hen.
Her wife identified as Martha who is a witness in the case said that she came back from the farm only to find his husband on the act with the hen.
"I could not believe what I was seeing until I found myself screaming. That is when neighbors rushed to my place and caught him dressing up with the hen lying lifeless on the floor," she said.
Mr John Michieka who rushed to the scene of crime faulted the man saying he could have asked for sex from his wife.
However, he also said that the man had complained that the woman was denying her husband his conjugal rights.
"The man could have asked elders to intervene and assist him instead of doing it with a hen," said Mr Michieka.
Area Nyumba Kumi official said that the man pleaded for forgiveness saying that an evil spirit controlled him to do the act.
"We then asked him to buy ten hens for the neighbor by Monday morning," he said.
