[Photo|CGKK]Kakamega County Deputy Governor Prof. Philip Museve Kutima condoled with family members and friends of the late Lilian Jepkemoi Nabii, wife to former Kakamega County Chief of Staff Nabii Nabwera, who passed on last Saturday.Nabii also unsuccessfully vied for the Lugari parliamentary seat through ODM in August 8 general elections, 2017.Professor Kutima called on residents of the county to embrace unity and be actively involved in public participation of the county agendas to ensure devolution works across Kakamega. He reminded farmers to register with ward Administrators so as to benefit from the ongoing county government's subsidised farming.Kakamega County First Lady Priscillah Oparanya called on leaders to focus on their mandate of serving the people diligently and truthfully.In attendance were Lugari MP Ayub Savula, Busia County Woman Representative Florence Mutua, Shinyalu MP Kizito Mugali, Burudi Nabwera, Nominated Senators - Masitsa Naomi Shionga and Getrude Musuruve Inimah, Nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi, MCAs, Chairperson County Public Service Board Rodah Masaviru, Dr. Miguna Miguna, Edwin Sifuna, among others.Earlier in the day, Kutima eulogised Rev. Thomas Iminyi Ambani of Baptist Church at Aligulla in Likuyani Sub-County for his commitment to Christianity and evangelism and his immense contribution to the society in education matters as well as in peace initiatives.
