New documents released by Wikileaks has revealed that intelligence agencies from USA and England spied on President Uhuru Kenyatta among other African leaders.
Le Monde, a newspaper published by France has quoted Snowden stating that conversation between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his advisors and those between Raila Odinga who was by then the Prime minister were tapped and listened to in secret by intelligence agencies in America and England in March 2009.
The newspaper added that several African leaders were also put under surveillance using secret satellites by the two countries between 2008 and 2011.
In addition, several countries were subjected to the same among them being Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Togo.
