This is after his election was annulled last week.

According to Owino, he is dissatisfied with the decision delivered by Justice Joseph Sergon saying he intends to appeal against the whole decision.

On Friday last week, Justice Sergon nullified the election of Babu Owino as Embakasi East Member of Parliament owing to irregularities.

He ordered that a by-election be carried out.

After a court-ordered vote recount, Babu Owino got 46,817 votes against the petitioner, Francis Mureithi, who garnered 42,501 votes.

Both Owino and Mureithi also registered an increase in votes after the recount.
