He says that his development records should speak on his behalf, especially on matters related to Education.

Mutua is a staunch supporter of education. He believes acquiring education is akin to possessing a key that unlocks all health and wealth and ultimately drive out poverty and diseases.

He is the director of Rural aid Kenya, an organization that supports and offers partial sponsorship to K.C.P.E and K.C.S.E candidates.

The beneficiaries are enrolled and admitted for various courses at Sunrise Teachers training college in Athi River.

Mutua has also established Sunrise Girls' high school in Kinanie and Kitanga Boys high school in Kathome where he is also a director.
