Yesterday, the NASA leaders vowed to serve revenge against ODM party leader, Raila Odinga over why they term betrayal.

Led by Ford Kenya leader, Moses Wetangula, they said they are ready to make ODM uncomfortable in whichever side it joins but the question is, will they succeed in their plans?

The Western region which has been considered Opposition backyard has always rallied behind Raila Odinga in his quest for Presidency ever.

In the previous general elections, Raila has always emerged the top in the region compared to his competitors.

If Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi will be able to rally support for Luhya unity to make a formidable stab, Raila Odinga will be a big loser.

Wetangula and Mudavadi have already started urging the Mulembe community to have unity.

The NASA affiliate parties, Wiper, Ford Kenya, and ANC, have threatened to drop Raila's ODM from the coalition.

Wiper member of Parliament, Gideon Mulyungi, has revealed that there are plans ongoing to evict ODM from the coalition.

"There is clear manifestation that we are not walking the same path with ODM. Raila will not be allowed to auction other NASA partners. There are plans underway to kick him out," said Mulyungi as quoted by The Standard.

When ODM party will be kicked out, they will be an independent party.

Many of its supporters are from Nyanza region.

They are do not have numbers compared to Abaluhya community.

Which community can they form a coalition with them, if they are to field a candidate to win the 2022 presidency?

The NASA leaders will have beaten Raila Odinga and its party.

The NASA leaders have been with Raila Odinga for a long time. They have understood his secrets of politics. If Raila will vie in 2022 general elections again, it will be easy for NASA leaders to counter his politics. They understand each move he makes. They will succeed in teaching him a lesson.

However, the big task for NASA co-principals in challenging Raila will be if he decides to join Jubilee party.

It will be an indomitable force in 2022 which will be difficult to stop.

A section of coastal ODM leaders led by Aisha Jumwa has already said they will rally behind DP Ruto in 2022 presidency.

"We can't stop an idea whose time has come. 2022, it is William Ruto, we want to assure you of our support when that time comes," said Ms. Jumwa as quoted by The Standard. If these will go by, it is clear that NASA leaders will have failed to teach Raila a lesson and lost the battle.
