Kisii county Senator Chris Obure who recently led leaders to State House is in the process to lure Gusii community to join and support Jubilee administration.
Obure who was elected in 2013 on an ODM ticket has been quoted in the media accusing Cord leader Raila Odinga of neglecting Gusii region despite the support from the community.
Obure with other leaders from the region went ahead and formed a movement known as 'Omogusii unity' whose agenda they claim is to represent Omogusii and negotiate for power during elections.
Obure being the chair of Omogusii unity movement may face opposition from Gusii community since their movement does not represent any grievance of Omogusii.
It is believed that the leaders have been paid by Jubilee administration to ditch opposition and make it collapse as other members from Western Kenya announced their exit a few days ago.
Putting in mind that money does not make man but man makes money, Obure, and his team will face stiff opposition since their movement does not represent Kisii people.
Obure's political career may come to an end since his recent political steps indicate how he will fail with the Omogusii unity movement in 2017 elections.
