Pyrethrum farmers in Kenya have been struggling to secure a market.They hope 2018 is the year that will turn things around for them and bring back the good old days when pyrethrum used to earn the country huge revenue.Counties, where it is grown such as Nakuru and Nyandarua, are putting in place measures that it hopes will bring money for the farmers.At the forefront of that effort are two governors; Nyandarua's Francis Kimemia and Nakuru's Lee Kinyanjui.Governor Kimemia revealed that a meeting to discuss how to turn things around for pyrethrum farmers will happen in the first quarter of this year.
