Flamboyant Nairobi Senator and Ukambani politician Mike Mbuvi is likely to ditch Jubilee for Cord if he is rigged out during nominations.

Several members of Parliament led by Maina Kamanda believe that Jubilee will lose Sonko if he is not given a ticket to battle out with the incumbent Nairobi governor Dr Evans Kidero in the upcoming general elections.

There have been many speculations about Sonko’s political future in Jubilee with some politicians alleging that is likely to vie against Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho.

Kamanda believes that losing Sonko is among the worst things that can happen to Jubilee as Uhuruto look forward to defending the presidency.

The outspoken politician has warned President Uhuru, his Deputy Ruto and other members of Jubilee against letting Sonko leave the party.

Kamanda said that he has some information about the Senator’s plan to leave the party once he is denied the chance to vie for the gubernatorial seat in 2017.

If rumors are anything to go by, Sonko’s move to join ODM will change the politics of the nation.

"A situation where important leaders are leaving because they feel things are not fair must not be condoned," said Kamanda.

The only way to retain Sonko is ensuring free and fair party nomination.
