In what seems to be like ‘betrayal’, Deputy Pesident William Ruto’s best friend, lawyer Donald Kipkorir, has endorsed the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga for the presidency.
According to Kipkorir, Raila is the best leader deliver Kenyans from corruption, tribalism and disunity. He says Raila will revive Kenya.
“Kenya needs a leader who will put the country above self. Who will want all Kenyans to rise together. A leader who wouldn’t discriminate because of political ideology or tribe or religion. We need a leader who will not do business competing with the state but instead establish a sovereign fund for all. A leader who will not delegitimise tribes or leaders,” said Kipkorir.
The flamboyant lawyer who is alleged to be a close ally of Ruto since 1992, expressed confidence that the former Prime Minister will take Kenyans to the ‘promised land’. He urged Kenyans to vote for Nasa in the August 8 polls.
“It is for this that I place my faith in Baba. He said he will go one term. He says like Joshua, he will take us over to Canaan and leave. Let’s give him a chance. Then at least the leadership of Kenya would have temporarily moved out of Kikuyu-Kalenjin before we resume in 2022,” he added.
