[Photo/KTN]President Uhuru Kenyatta has been put on spot, following his tweet and Facebook post. This is after Willice Ochieng, alias 'Willice the Word Master' publicly corrected him over the post. The Kisumu word master who features in a local TV station corrected the president for wrong spelling of the word 'convalescing'."Visited my friend Kenneth Matiba, former Minister, who is convalescencing at a Nairobi hospital. May God heal you my friend," Uhuru tweeted. However, Willice took issue with the tweet and replied saying: "The right word is convalescing' (from the verb CONVALESCE - to recuperate). It could be a typo or a mistaken spelling/word. To err is human."Some keen Twitter users also took swipe at the 'Word Master' saying both spellings were correct.A battle of the whether the word was correctly used or not followed after a Twitter user told Ochieng both forms were correct, as he disputed. The government awarded the 85-year-old veteran politician over Sh1billion as compensation for detention and inhumane treatment by security agents, following a ruling by Supreme Court judge Isaac Lenaola who handled the case while at the High Court.Matiba suffered stroke on May 26, 1991. He was however detained without medication for a week, worsening his condition.
