Agriculture CS Willy Bett has affirmed that he will not step down for allegedly mismanaging the ministry.
This is after a section of MPS called for his resignation over the skyrocketing prices of food products.
“I still have a lot to do and my work will not cut out,” he is quoted by the Star.
He said currently he has the task to ensure the prices of maize, sugar and milk drastically comes down.
“The calls will not cut my desire to lower down the prices of Unga.”
On Friday, Members of Parliament asked Uhuru to fire Bett within four days.
