Although the specifics of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his political nemesis Raila Odinga's MoU remains scanty, top politicians could find themselves in awkward situation as they come to terms.
So secretive was the deal that even lieutenants close the two protagonists were caught flat-footed in the Friday's unity meeting.
Even though he seems to have joined the unity bandwagon, the deal could have a negative impact to DP William Ruto according to political pundit Nyachieo Bogonko.
"The deal is a blow to him because we all least expected it. Ruto will now have to go back to the drawing board," he said.
Other than Ruto, NASA co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, will also have to change tact following the unprecedented events.
In fact, Bogonko adds, they will now have to live in Raila's shadow until 2022 due to their decision to skip January inauguration.
"NASA supporters now have more confidence in Raila than in the three. He has nothing to lose and for them to be relevant, they have to cooperate."
Besides Ruto and the principals, vocal politicians from both Jubilee and NASA could struggle to stamp their authority in Kenyan politics due to the truce between the two.
Among those who will now have to live in peace with Raila, despite significantly improving their profile out of persistent attacks are Aden Duale, Kipchumba Murkomen, Moses Kuria among others.
Apparently, the trio have already hailed the pact with Duale terming Raila a 'nationalist' contrary to his previous radical stand.
In Raila's NASA, John Mbadi, Millie Odhiambo, Junet Mohammed, Norman Magaya and even strategist David Ndii, will have to cope their lives without persistently attacking Uhuru.
But the top gainers are Kenyan people and the economy which has severely dwindled due to persistent extremist politics.
Also, loyalty especially those allied to NASA, could find their way to government once a government of unity is constituted.
