Mutua is a man of the people. The massive support the governor enjoys and his great performance scoreboard are among the things that Wiper has to overcome in the bid to dethrone him.
Reports indicate that Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has been coercing leaders from different parts of the region to back Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala as he looks forward to clinching the county’s top seat.
Although all dreams are valid as Lupita Nyong’o once put it, validating Muthama’s dream can be difficult.
As much as Kalonzo deserves credit for acting as a mentor to Dr Alfred Mutua, the governor has created a name for himself in the region as well as the entire part of the nation.

Leaders who are out to fight Mutua have selfish interests at heart. There is no other aspirant who will do a better job than Mutua has done for his people.
