Through party Chief Excutive Officer, Jared Siso, the Kalonzo Musyoka led political outfit said that Jubilee attacked innocent Kenyans including Kathiani Member of Parliament Robert Mbui.
The confrontation between the police and Kenyans National Resistance Movement (NRM) during Raila Odinga’s homecoming led to several deaths. However, Wiper mantains that Kathiani’s attack was a plot to assassinate the opposition legislature.
“The violence which led to deaths of more than five Kenyans, occasioned severe injuries on others and led to wanton destruction of property, could have been avoided had the regime cared to follow the law as well as the dictates of the constitution. Only a quick intervention by well-meaning Kenyans saved Mbui’s life.
He is currently admitted at the Nairobi Hospital, where he has just undergone a successful surgery on his broken leg,” Siso said on Saturday as quoted by the Star.
The legislature has been at the forefront in demanding removal of Jubilee from power through constitutional and legal means.
