The area member of parliament of Mwingi Central constituency Joe Mutambu has pleaded with the Kamba community to wake up, support the government and switch sides to the newly formed Jubilee coalition for the betterment of Ukambani.
According to him, the opposing coalition Cord has terribly failed as it originally had no agenda for Kenyans thus the Kamba people stand a great chance of benefiting more fro,m Jubilee as opposed to the opposition.
The defiant legislator who has since said his farewell to Wiper party vowed to continue working in conjunction with the government in working out the problems facing the people of Ukambani despite the incessant Wiper leadership disapprovals.
"Our people have to make a wise choice for once. The community stands to lose everything if we stick with the opposition and thus we should support Jubilee if we want to be part of the government or continue sticking with Opposition which is taking us no place,” the lawmaker said.
The Mp has further told off Wiper party executive Kalonzo Musyoka saying that as for the moment, the Kamba people have only suffered in the Cord coalition and his bid for presidency has no future adding that even if the Kamba community supported him he would not still make the cut.
