Wiper Democratic Movement defectors who had been summoned to appear before the party's disciplinary committee on Friday last week and failed to obey have been given a second chance.
The defectors who instead sent their Lawyer requested for more time to appear before the committee according to Secretary General Hassan Omar.
"Those who had been summoned asked for more time," said Hassan.
"They will, therefore be appearing again before the committee on November 24, then from then we will seek to have a report from the disciplinary committee as to what recommendations will have been made," he added.
The committee chaired by Harun Ndubi had summoned governor Mutua alongside MPs Joe Mutambu (Mwingi Central), Joe Munuve (Mwingi North), Regina Ndambuki (Kilome), nominated MP Robert Mutemi, Katemi Makenga (Kaiti) and Kisoi Munyao (Mbooni).
