Makueni Governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana led a delegation of Wiper Democratic Movement leaders from across the country in consoling Kathiani MP Robert Mbui and wishing him quick recovery at he Nairobi Hospital.

The Wiper MP suffered a fractured leg during a march from JKIA to welcome NASA leader Raila Odinga from a 10-day US trip.

On Sunday, Kibwana who is also the Acting Wiper chairman called on the government to institute a task force to unravel those behind cases of police killing innocent lives.

"Some of the lives lost were so innocent that they had not known much about the world. For justice and unity to prevail, we must build a state where life is sacrosanct," he said.
