According to Wiper, the defectors will meet the disciplinary committee in two weeks time.

Speaking after a National Executive Council meeting in Nairobi on Wednesday, Wiper Secretary General Hassan Omar said that the decision of the disciplinary committee will be acted on by the party top organ.

The disciplinary committee according to Omar will be chaired by Harun Ndubi.

The committee will set forward action to be taken against members who have defected to other parties.

On Wednesday during the National Executive Committee meeting in Nairobi, the Party said that the committee will in the next two weeks invite defectors to appear before it.

The committee members according to Omar are Lilian Omondi, Mutheu Muna, Abubkar Yusuf and Jacob Mutinda.

According to Omar letters inviting defectors to appear before the committee will be sent out immediately.

Among the defectors who will appear before the disciplinary committee are John Munuve (MP Mwingi North), Joe Mutambu (MP Mwingi Central), Regina Ndambuki (MP Kilome), Katemi Makenga (MP Kaiti) and Kisoi Munyao (MP Mbooni).

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua will also be expected to appear before the disciplinary committee.

Mutua recently formed the Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement which has already been registered as a political party.

,The governor has also been linked to Jubilee Party a move that has angered Wiper party which gave him ticket to run for the governor seat in 2013.

Early this week, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party expelled defectors who had decamped from the party.
