Wiper chairman David Musila said the party’s disciplinary committee has been instructed to hear the matter and report to the National Executive Committee immediately.

“The committee has already been directed by the NEC to deal with the issue. The media will be kept informed of any developments,” he said.

On his part, Ford Kenya secretary general Eseli Simiyu said the party’s National Executive Committee will meet this week to discuss matters pertaining to its members who have decamped to Jubilee.

“We will not be left behind in ensuring discipline within political parties is maintained through fidelity to the rule of law. The letters summoning those who defected are ready and will be sent to them once the disciplinary committee is formed before the end of the week,” he said.

This comes days after ODM expelled ten of its leaders for deserting the party.
