Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo has dismissed claims that the Kalonzo Musyoka-led Wiper Party is planning to bolt out of NASA.Speaking during an interview on KTN News on Friday, Maanzo said Wiper is firmly in NASA.He said that the party has no plans of ditching the Raila Odinga-led opposition coalition.The MP hit out at critics claiming that Kalonzo plans on dumping NASA, saying they were spreading the propaganda for their own selfish gain. “I can tell you for sure that Wiper party is and will remain in NASA whether critics like it or not,” he said.Maanzo further said that Wiper is fully involved in the various activities being carried out by the National Super Alliance.There have been speculations that Wiper is not comfortable in NASA following the formation of the National Resistance Movement (RMR).Last week the party officials met to discuss Kalonzo’s future maintaining they will push for his candidature in 2022 as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with other NASA affiliate parties.
