Kibwana said Ukambani region has been neglected for long in terms of development for being in opposition.

"It is time to join the government," Kibwana said.

He spoke at Kwa Kathoka in Makueni County on Friday.

Kibwana who doubles as the party's chairman said Wiper is 'Knocking' on the government's door ready to work hand in hand.

He said despite every region has the right to development, those closer to the government get more benefits.

"We are ready to work with the government. Indeed, we have been left behind for being in the opposition. On behalf of our party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, we are knocking," Kibwana said.

The governor made the sentiments while accompanied by the Devolution Cabinet Minister Eugene Wamalwa.

Responding to Kibwana, Wamalwa said the government's doors were open.

Wamalwa said the Kamba community is welcomed to work with the Jubilee's administration.

He, however, said the government has never sidelined any region in terms of development.

"There's no other government until 2022 other than Jubilee's, and when one knocks the door it is opened to them. Our doors are opened, we welcome you so that we continue bulding the nation, Wamalwa said.
