A Nairobi-based lawyer and West Mugirango parliamentary hopeful Stephen Mogaka has dismissed claims doing rounds on social media that he has decamped to the Jubilee Party.
Mogaka in a statement through his personal assistant said he has followed the chat on social media platforms and noted politics of hate and division taking root.
"As a rational thinker, politics will always come and go but our problems thereon will not be solved by politicians. Make your own strides as a youth and leave actualised politicians to fight their way, campaign for them in peace and love. The electorate will decide," said Mogaka in the statement.
Mogaka said he is a Wiper lawyer and member as a Cord player and that he remains a Cord aspirant though he shall officially confirm later joining ODM following an intensive meeting with ODM party leader for him to be an ODM lead counsel cum aspirant.
"Anybody posting my portrait in any party is an agent of hate and has feared an early defeat and for the supporters. I remain vigilant and firm in the race with or without political hatred," said Mogaka.
