Wiper Party leaders have insisted that they will not allow their party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka to play second fiddle again.
Speaking on Thursday at the home of the late Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze, the leaders said Musyoka has sacrificed many times before,
Led by former MP Farah Maalim, and senators allied to the party, they said they will not allow anyone to jump in front of the queue.
“He sacrificed in 2013, in 2017, this time we are hoping, we are demanding, we are expecting everyone else to sacrifice for Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka,” said Farah Maalim, Wiper Party Deputy leader.
As we struggle between now and 2022, we want to insist that you will be our presidential candidate,”
Wiper Party is the third largest party in the country,” said Enock Wambua.
They also took issue with the recent appointment of leaders to the PSC, in which the party felt aggrieved.
While you were away, we lost the parliamentary service commission seat in parliament because we did not have anyone at the top to fight for us,”
“We want on eighth of August and honorable Kalonzo Musyoka should be here as the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya, but those who have perfected the art of rigging elections, they stole the first time, stole the second time, but we are now ready,” said Charity Ngilu
