Mombasa county Wiper Democratic Movement's top officials under the leadership of senator Hassan Omar Hassan held meeting on Monday ahead of CORD co- Principal Kalonzo Musyoka's visit to the county early next month.
This comes in the wake of the NEC having resolved that the Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya is going to strengthen its presence in national politics that will include rolling out its countrywide activities to popularise the movement.
It is on this regard that the Party will be in Mombasa for a roadshow and rally to kick off the countrywide tour on Saturday, 1st October with the climax of the tour being set for 2nd of October at Tononoka Grounds.
This will be followed by similar activities in Kisii from 9th to 11th October before the Party tours all the 47 counties for the same purpose.
According to Hassan Omar Hassan, the Party still believes in the CORD Coalition and will be awaiting the recommendations of the Maanzoni Team that was set up to identify the flag bearer for CORD.
All the Wiper leaders remain hopeful that the party's Presidential candidate Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, will be on the ballot and flag-bearer of Cord coalition.
