The Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya, has organised for a major fundraiser dinner in aide of their candidates, ahead of the August 8, election.
The event, to be held at the Ole Sereni Hotel, along Mombasa Road, will be attended by elected leaders from the National Super Alliance (Nasa), businessmen, political aspirants, diplomats, religious leaders, among others, Friday, June 30.
All the five Nasa principals, presidential candidate Raila Odinga (ODM), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Bomet governor Isaac Ruto (CCM), and host, WDM-P leader, Nasa running mate Kalonzo Musyoka will also be in attendance.
According to the party's executive director, Jared Siso, the fundraiser will help take care of political activities within Nasa, countrywide.
"Cards are available for sale at all party offices countrywide and at the party secretariat in Nairobi. Please member, carry your invitation card and deposit slip to enter function," read part of a public notice, in a local daily.
