Wiper MPs have dismissed a group of politicians from Ukambani who have pledged to campaign for the re-election of presidents Uhuru Kenyatta.

The legislators led by Kathiani MP Robert Mbui said the former Kitui senator and Wiper chairman David Musila has no authority to speak on behalf of the Kamba community on political matters.

Mbui said the region supports NASA and not Jubilee.

"We are surprised by remarks expressed by election losers regarding the coming presidential polls. It makes no sense for people rejected by voters to purport to speak on thier behalf," said Mbui.

According to Mbui, the leaders who have moved to Jubilee are seeking political favors from Jubilee.

He said elected leaders will campaign for NASA candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.

Kitui central MP Makali Mulu said they will not allow state officers to campaign for Jubilee in the region since it is against the law.

Kitui senator Enoch Wambua said they will institute citizen arrest against government officials campaigning for Jubilee.
