There was drama yesterday in parliament after Garissa Township Member of Parliament and House Leader of the Majority called Wiper MPs squatters after they occupied the seats meant for the leaders of the minority and the minority whip.
The vocal lawmaker asked the MPs to vacate their seats to create room for the rightful MPs.
''The Wiper MPs are squatters, occupying land that does not belong to them. They should vacate and allow the rightful owners to occupy the land,'' Hon. Aden Duale said.
He was speaking yesterday on the floor of parliament in the wake of the deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Wiper was protesting what they called the decision by ODM to join the government, saying that it was now part of the government.
