Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been accused of failing to stand firm as an opposition leader.
Victor Swanya, a Wiper party politician in Nyamira County said Kalonzo’s proposal that he wants the three NASA co-principals who have not met with President Uhuru Kenyatta is uncalled for.
“I thought Kalonzo will be firm not like Raila who betrayed the opposition outfit when he met with President Uhuru last week Friday," he said.
"It is bad for Kalonzo to publicly declare that he wants to meet President Uhuru with is counterparts Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya and Musalia Mudavadi. This clearly shows that the country lacks as strong opposition,” he added.
Swanya said Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula should not adopt Raila's strategy, who he claims might quit politics.
“Raila should not be trusted and be followed blindly because he is old only that he is seeking retirement money from the Jubilee government," he added.
The politician argued that the 3 leaders should open focus on 2022 race adding that NASA is headed for an imminent fallout.
"NASA will not be there in 2022. The three leaders should focus on 2022 and drop their plan to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta who they have been claiming to be illegitimate,” he noted.
