Mbaluka was charged before Senior Resident Magistrate Gerald Mutiso where he openly denied disrupting a meeting held at Mulala presided over by the Assistant County Commissioner's office.

The meeting held at Mulala was meant to register the elderly for a state money transfer programme.

Mbaluka was released on a Sh20,000 bond awaiting the reopening of the case on July 30.
