Speaking in Tana river county on Wednesday during a political rally, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that the party will conduct its own nominations and present a candidate for every political post in the nation excluding the presidency which calls for consultation and agreement with the other principals.

His comments were echoed by the party Secretary General and  Mombasa senator Hassan Omar.

''There will not be any joint nominations anywhere.''He said.

Other leaders present in the event went ahead to endorse the immediate former Deputy President for the coalition's presidential ticket terming him as the best among the other possible candidates with the Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama calling upon Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula to back him.

Wiper now joins Ford-K which also opposes ODM's proposal of the coalition staging one candidate for every post.
