Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said the party is set to hold a major political rally in Mombasa County from October 1.
Addressing Wiper members on Tuesday at the party offices in Nairobi, Kalonzo said the rally is meant to popularise the party ahead of the 2017 elections.
"I am pleased to announce that the party will hold a major rally and road show in Mombasa County on Saturday October 1, to popularise the party and meet with the party supporters from Mombasa,” said Kalonzo.
Kalonzo who is fighting to be named Cord's presidential candidate in 2017 said the party will participate in national politics to prepare its candidates as elections near.
