Barely two weeks after Tana River governor Hussein Dado decamped to the Jubilee party from Wiper, he has been 'replaced'.
Dado who was elected on a Wiper party ticket in 2013, left the Kalonzo Musyoka-led party for president Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee, saying the party had his people's agenda, at hand.
He said he would seek re-election on a Jubilee party ticket.
However, accompanied by Wiper secretary general Hassan Omar alongside other party leaders, Musyoka welcomed new face to send Dado home.
"We are humbled to receive Dr Abdi Nur, former MP for Bura Constituency and current County Assembly Speaker and Chairperson of the County Assembly forum,'' Kalonzo said, Friday.
Addressing the press, he said Dado's defection did not 'shake' his party, saying it was firm, and read to reclaim the seat during the August 8, polls.
