The Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM-K) has responded to reports that the opposition outfit is planning to form an alliance with KANU.
The party has come out to rubbish the claims spearheaded by Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket.
Kamtet had claimed that KANU leader Gideon Moi is working to form a new alliance with Kalonzo Musyoka.
He said that the deal to bring the two leaders together was being drafted ahead of the 2022 polls.
However, Wiper Secretary General Peter Mathuki dismissed the claims stating that they were personal opinions.
"That is his own thinking. We are not talking to individuals, we are talking about an all-inclusive outreach to Kenyans in every part of this country," Mathuki is quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.
Gideon has recently been in a series of high-profile meetings sparking speculation that he was putting together a strong team for his planned presidential bid.
After meeting Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua a few weeks ago, Moi met Mombasa county boss Ali Hassan Joho.
