Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that 7 rebel Mps will be expelled from the party.
The party had initially indicated that Wiper Mps who had defected to Jubilee will not be expelled.
On Wednesday during a special National Executive Committee meeting held in Nairobi, Kalonzo said that Wiper has started a process to expel rebel Mps as ODM did.
The party resolved that rebel Mps will be summoned to defend themselves as to why they should still remain in the party's membership list.
Kalonzo said that the expulsion of rebel Mps will keep the opposition strong.
Hassan Omar the party's secretary general argued that the process will take place within two weeks.
"Affected members will be summoned before the party's disciplinary committee to defend themselves. said Omar.
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Mps John Munuve - Mwingi North, Joe Mutambo - Mwingi Central, Katemi Makenga -Kaiti, Regina Ndambuki - Kilome, Kisoi Munyao -Mbooni and Robert Mutemi nominated are the members expected to be summoned.
