Mulyungi said Wiper is no longer part of NASA and it's setting its own agenda ahead of the 2022 general election.

According to the MP,  NASA died the moment ODM leader Raila Odinga met with President Uhuru Kenyatta on March 9 without the knowledge of his co-principals.

Speaking in Mwingi town on Monday, Mulyungi said Wiper has the strength to stand on its own and market Kalonzo’s 2022 bid.

“We cannot continue to waste time in an Alliance that no longer has focus and soon we will make out sand,” Mulyungi said.

The MP hit out at Raila Odinga accusing him of failing to lead the alliance.

He said NASA was Kenya’s hope in terms of electoral reforms and justice.

The MP said Wiper has set in place strategies to market itself ahead of 2022.

The future of NASA is in limbo with Ford Kenya and Amani National Congress (ANC) also said to be planning to quit the Alliance.

There are claims that Ford Kenya and ANC   might merge into one party ahead of the 2022 polls.

Last week, Kalonzo announced plans to rebrand his party in readiness for 2022.

The former Vice President said that he has waited for too long to be president and that 2022 is his golden chance to ascend to top leadership.
