The Wiper Democratic Movement has welcomed the super alliance talks saying that they are ready to set up a team to sit with other coalition partners to map out the details of the alliance.
Speaking on Tuesday in Kisii, Wiper secretary general Hassan Omar said the Movement is ready and willing to negotiate with other partners to strategise on the way forward to remove the Jubilee regime from power.
“As Wiper Movement, we are ready to form a team to sit for talks to discuss the proposed super alliance,” said Omar.
Speaking while addressing delegates and members of the public in Kisii, Suneka and Marani Towns, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said he is confident of sending Jubilee home if his partners in the Cord coalition entrust him with the honour.
Kalonzo said he has the required experience to lead this country and deal corruption and tribalism a deathblow.
He condemned the recent killings of innocent Kenyans at the Kisii-Kipsigis boarder, saying the Jubilee regime has no capacity to protect its citizens and their properties.
He said a government that cannot fulfill its primary duty of securing its citizens has no mandate to govern.
“The primary mandate of a government is to protect her citizens, the Jubilee government has failed completely on this primary responsibility,” said Kalonzo.
