Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka at a past event. He has assured all the party leaders and hopefuls of fair nominations.CORD co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has promised all Wiper leaders and politicians eyeing posts on the party ticket of fair nominations.
Speaking when he officially received Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, the former Vice President said that the party primaries will be free, accountable and transparent, further saying that he as the party leader does not have any preferred individuals who he will endorse or give direct nominations.
''I can assure you that we don’t have a lineup and don’t prefer any particular candidates. The party will hold free and fair nominations," said Kalonzo.
Kalonzo further appreciated and congratulated Governor Kibwana's decision to join the party from his initial Muungano Party, saying that it will tame political duels in the Ukambani region hence good leadership and unity among the leaders especially the Governor and his Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior.
''From now onward we do not expect wrangles between Kibwana and Senator Mutula because they are now one family," he said.
Kibwana will now defend his seat on the Wiper ticket which is under the NASA outfit.
He also promised to work closely with the other leaders in the region to ensure that Kalonzo clinches the NASA Presidential flag bearer ticket.
