Wiper Democratic Movement has no plans of ditching the Cord coalition, secretary general Hassan Omar has revealed.
Speaking Thursday during a breakfast show on Radio Citizen, Omar said contrary to speculation that the Kalonzo Musyoka-led party was on its way out of the opposition outfit due to disagreements arising from the 2013 pre-election pact, Wiper has no plans whatsoever of detaching itself from Cord.
He added that he was not party to the pact but was sure it would be resolved.
Omar who is also the Mombasa Senator, however, took issue with ODM party leader Raila Odinga's absence during Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula's presidential launch bid in Kakamega saying he ought to have attended the rally to show solidarity with his co-principal.
