The Jubilee coalition has said Parliament will go on with its duties with or without cooperation from the NASA Members of Parliament.

National Assembly majority Leader Aden Duale said they will form parliamentary committees next week and omit their NASA counterparts if they fail to submit names of their members.

Speaking to the Star, Duale said they will not allow NASA leader Raila Odinga's side to continue "holding Parliament hostage".

"I have already forwarded the list for the Selection Committee to discuss it next week. Thereafter, we will constitute all relevant committees," Duale said.

His remarks come at a time MPs are preparing to

resume from their short November recess next Tuesday.

Both Houses are set to go on a 10-week holiday starting December 8 to February 12, 2018.
