Duale threatened to table a motion to discuss Odunga in parliament, accusing him of leaning towards opposition in is judgments.

In his Friday’s post at Nyamira Whatsap group, Mogeni said the statement would likely cause animosity between the legislative organ and judiciary.

“It is quite absurd that someone like Duale can accuse a judge who makes independent judgments on a National TV. That was uncalled for and I challenge him to withdraw the remarks,” he said.

“Such reckless statements can degenerate to unnecessary fights between parliament and judiciary. It is for the good of this country that he withdraws,” he added.

Chief justice David Maraga also joined calls to have judiciary respected by warning against unnecessary attacks on judges.
