A man who resembles the notorious witness-in-chief has decried the continued use of his image on social media, saying that it is putting his life in danger.

Mr. Njeru who plies his trade as a cameraman said he had received threats on social media.

''Some people have called for me to be shot on sight because they think I am a hitman... I am an assassin. I have been wondering what would happen if I took a walk on Tom Mboya street.'' Njeru Njagi told a local reporter.

He said that someone with malicious intentions downloaded his photo and shared it on social media.

Asked why he was donning Bluetooth glasses, Mr. Njagi explained that he found them useful when traveling since he could use them to listen to music.

The glasses also have a camera that he uses to take pictures.

Mr. Njeru implored Kenyans not to confuse him with Ngengi, the arrested eyewitness.
