David Ngige Kimani who as per now is a business person in the matatu PSV sector plying Narok-Mau-Narok route in humorous way informed the law court that just touching Waiganjo was enough since Waiganjo was like his son.

When questioned by the prosecution to give an account of what happened, he narrated that he received a call from Waiganjo's father Mr. Ephraim Waiganjo who happened to be their Bishop at a church in Njoro inviting him to attend graduation ceremony at the Londiani KFS.

“I was invited and I accepted but what made me even more joyous is that I sat at the main dias for the graduation and most of the graduants who passed by could salute us as I was sitted just behind Waiganjo and I don’t think I will ever get a chance like that to be respected as VIP,” he told the court.

His explanation of accounts on the said date left everyone in court laughing especially with the humour in which the old retired teacher explained issues.

The retired teacher however told the court that he did not understand the rank Waiganjuo held even though during the ceremony, Waiganjo was representing the Rift Valley boss John Mbijiwe.

Waiganjo was sentenced to serve five years in prison for impersonating police officers, misuse of public office as well as public property alongside John Mbijiwe and Anti-Stock Theft chief officer by then Remy Ngugi.

The case hearings is still proceeding.
